Jonathan strongly believes in the European values of democracy, solidarity, inclusion, equal opportunities, promotion of human rights, respect and protection of the environment.
In order to strengthen the ‘European dimension’ of its activities and services, Jonathan is a member of ALDA, the European Association of Local Democracy Agencies.
Thanks to Erasmus Plus Program we will host young people from European country and give them the opportunity to be trained and to work in different fields in order to enrich their social and professional skills. This is an important contribute to a positive and pro-active development of the society.
Creative Europe Call 2015
Currently Jonathan, in partnership with four European associations from France, Portugal, Greece and Poland, is participating at the EU call ‘Creative Europe’ with the BEEP Project (Building Educational Exchange through Puppetry).
The project aims to promote artistic exchanges at different levels and create a European network of artists and experts in the cultural sector. The project consists of a series of actions linked together in which the file rouge is Puppetry and the innovative ways in which it can help to promote human rights.
Puppets, marionettes, shadows players, marottes and other puppetry tools become sources of understanding and knowledge that convey deep contents and principals affecting positively the personal and social development.
The project integrates several activities together, such as debates, conferences, workshops, creative puppets ateliers, co-produced performances, meetings and festivals from different countries. The project, on one hand, will empower the outputs and good practices exchanges among sector’s professional experts through
cross-border cooperation; on the other hand it will contribute to strength the EU dimension of culture and EU 2020 growth strategies.
