“BE MINDFUL, BE THE CHANGE” YOUTH EXCHANGE 2022

We are looking for 5 participants (age 18-30) and 1 Italian group leader (18+) for the youth exchange ‘Be Mindful, Be the Change’, from 19/9 to 28/9/2022 (including travel) in Calalzo di Cadore (BL) and involving 30 participants from Italy, Spain, Lithuania, Poland and Turkey. Focus of the exchange: exploring the concept of ‘Mindfulness’ through different tools and methods. Jonathan Cooperativa Sociale strongly believes in the European values of democracy, solidarity, inclusion, equal opportunities, promotion of human rights, respect and protection of the environment.

Thanks to a number of EU calls for proposals and the Erasmus+ programme, we give young people from all over Europe (and some non-European countries) the opportunity to participate in training and mobility experiences in different fields, including: environmental protection, equal opportunities, intercultural dialogue and inclusion, human rights, the fight against unemployment and youth empowerment, active citizenship, and the dissemination of art and culture.

We offer opportunities to participate in European training courses, youth exchanges and volunteering projects through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC); these training and mobility experiences are aimed at enhancing the participants’ social and professional skills, promoting the values of active citizenship and thus contributing to a positive and pro-active development of society.

Jonathan Cooperativa Sociale, which is registered in the European register as an accredited body for the presentation of European projects and also accredited as a body for hosting volunteers or sending volunteers abroad, researches and promotes mobility projects and already has several opportunities in the pipeline.

Il Corpo europeo di solidarietà (European solidarity corps) è una esperienza di volontariato che può essere di breve o lunga durata, rivolti ai giovani tra i 18 e 30 anni interessati al progetto di volontariato stesso di volta in volta proposta. Nelle esperienze ESC il volontario avrà la possibilità di acquisire nuove competenze professionali, di sviluppare ulteriormente quelle già possedute e allo stesso tempo vivere in una realtà completamente diversa da quella di origine dando il proprio contributo all’implementazione delle progettualità locali promosse dall’ente ospitante.

Training Courses

I training courses sono corsi di formazione che in genere durano una settimana, e sono rivolti ad educatori, insegnanti, operatori giovanili di vario tipo e giovani interessati agli argomenti dei corsi che siano almeno maggiorenni. Nei training courses lo scopo è quello di acquisire e condividere nuovo competenze professionali e personali che sarà poi possibile riproporre ai giovani beneficiari finali.

Youth Exchanges

Gli Youth Exchanges sono scambi giovanili; anche questi durano in media una settimana e sono rivolti a tutti i giovani dai 16 ai 30 anni, interessati ad approfondire le tematiche di volta in volta proposte negli scambi, e sempre accompagnati da un group-leader. Durante gli Youth Exchange, i giovani partecipanti avranno la possibilit non solo di approfondire tematiche di interesse ma di acquisire e sviluppare competenze sociali e più ampiamente le cosiddette soft-skills che oramai si è compreso essere fondamentali per lo sviluppo personale e professionale.
